Your electrical panel needs sufficient spare capacity for this load — if your panel is already near capacity, you may need an electrician to upgrade it. The pad should extend 6–12 inches beyond the sauna footprint on all sides for drainage and access. Level within 1/4 inch across the full span. Do not install on bare soil (settling and moisture) or on a standard residential deck without engineering verification.
