Shipping policy

Free Shipping on Most Orders

Most orders ship free with either standard FedEx/UPS Ground or LTL Freight curbside delivery (for large items) to the contiguous United States. For certain orders, an additional shipping charge may apply. This is typically limited to wood orders under $500, sauna stones ordered without a heater, expedited shipping, white-glove delivery, remote or special-access delivery locations, islands, ferry-access locations, or other high-cost freight destinations.

If an additional shipping charge applies, we will contact you before shipment for approval and payment. You may either approve the additional charge or cancel the order for a full refund.

Shipment Timing:

In-stock items typically ship within 1-7 business days from the date of your order. Expedited options are available for an added fee; just call, chat or email us to request a quote. Custom-made items require additional lead time that varies based on the product. We target emailing you tracking information within 24 hours of your order being shipped. Occasionally items go out of stock and we will do our best to inform you of delayed shipment timing.  If you will be out of town or if you need a specific delivery timeframe, please communicate that to us in advance.  In most cases, we can't guarantee an exact delivery date as this is influenced by the shipping company. Small to medium items (most sauna heaters & smaller items):

In most cases, smaller items (electric sauna heaters, accessories, red light devices, replacement parts, etc.) are shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground to your front door. We reserve the right to choose the carrier for your shipment. Once shipped, we will email the tracking so that you can track the ETA of your order. 

Large Items (infrared saunas, sauna kits, wood stoves, cold plunges, hot tubs, sauna building materials, etc):

Large items such as sauna kits, wood burning sauna stoves, cold plunges, hot tubs, and large sauna material orders are shipped via freight. Freight delivery is different from standard Ground shipping, so it's essential to understand the process before the delivery day.

Key Points:

  • The tracking info that we provide reflects the ETA to the shipper's local delivery terminal.

  • The trucking company should call or text you to schedule the delivery appointment. You must be present to sign for delivery unless special arrangements have been made with the shipper.  

  • Freight deliveries are typically placed curbside where your driveway meets the street (even for rural properties).  For liability reasons, trucks and drivers will not enter your driveway or property.  You are responsible for moving your shipment to its final location.  It is critical to inform us in advance if you anticipate any issues with a large delivery truck accessing your address.  The trucks require a safe, flat, open area on the road near your driveway to safely lower the cargo to the ground.  They require a way to return to the main road without backing up.  If you have a challenging delivery address, please contact us to explain and we will provide additional delivery options. 

  • In some cases, large sauna crates (>92") or wood shipments (>96") exceed the capacity of the hydraulic liftgates on the back of the trucks and you will need to have the appropriate equipment or people onsite at the delivery appointment to unload the cargo from the truck.  We will inform you in advance by email if this is the case, so that you can make proper arrangements.  Most people rent a forklift with fork extensions for the delivery day or, if the trucking company allows it, open the crate and hand offload the cargo with several capable people.  Generally, 30 minutes to an hour is allocated for the delivery drop off before additional charges are incurred.

Pre-Assembled Saunas Delivery

Pre-assembled saunas typically require delivery by flatbed trucks and involve scheduled appointments. The sauna arrives on a large wooden pallet and is encased in protective packaging. Offloading will require special equipment which you are responsible for providing (crane or forklift), and the driver provides limited assistance. Discuss any unique delivery needs, such as property access, when contacted by the carrier.

Delivery Appointments

Once your package arrives at your local station, the freight carrier should call or text the phone number provided with the order to schedule a delivery appointment. It is the customer’s responsibility to schedule the delivery appointment with the carrier. Failure to schedule a delivery appointment can result in additional storage fees. Any property access concerns should be communicated to the shipper when setting the delivery appointment.  You must be home during the entire delivery time window and provide your signature at the time of delivery. 

Delivery Without Appointments

It may be possible for you to arrange delivery without an appointment with the carrier; you'll receive an estimated delivery date but no specific day or time window. We recommend being home when your order arrives, but a signature is not required. The driver will leave your pallets at the curb regardless of whether you are present or not.

Inspection of Shipment

Inspect your shipment for missing or damaged items upon arrival. If any items are missing or damaged, contact us immediately via email or phone 360-233-2867. You have 24 hours from the date of delivery to report any damaged items.

Shipping to Remote Areas

Remote or hard-to-reach areas may incur additional shipping fees. If your order is shipped to a location with shipping restrictions, a customer service representative will  contact you to notify you of any additional charges.

Please Note: Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other remote or island locations do not qualify for free shipping. A custom shipping quote will be required for these areas after your order is placed. You will receive an email with the additional shipping cost for approval before your order ships. Although checkout may display "Free Shipping," this offer applies only to the contiguous United States.

Shipping to APO/FPO Addresses

We do ship to APO/FPO addresses, subject to USPS size, weight, and content restrictions. If a package can't be sent to your APO/FPO address, we'll contact you to work out an alternative. APO/FPO shipments may be subject to additional shipping fees, and we'll notify you of these fees accordingly.

Incorrect Addresses & Failed Freight Deliveries

If an item is shipped and returned due to an incorrect address or failure to schedule a delivery appointment, you'll be responsible for shipping costs both ways. If a freight shipment is returned because the freight company couldn't reach your residence, this will be considered a return and subject to our return policy.

For any policy omission or clarification, the individual manufacturer policy will apply without exception. As policies are multi-faceted and constantly evolve, the customer (you) and retailer (us) agree to defer to the manufacturer's shipping & returns policy in these instances.
