Auroom is a premium Estonian sauna manufacturer and part of the Thermory group — the world's leading producer of thermally modified wood. Every Auroom sauna is designed and handcrafted in Estonia using Thermory's sustainably sourced thermo-treated timber (thermo-aspen, thermo-spruce, thermo-alder), with natural aspen and alder options available on select models. These are traditional steam saunas — no infrared — built for the authentic löyly experience (the burst of steam when water meets hot stones). Auroom saunas are the highest-end traditional sauna brand we carry, with architectural-grade design, furniture-quality interior finishes, invisible fasteners, tempered glass fronts, dimmable LED lighting, and PVC subflooring standard across the lineup. Every sauna is factory pre-assembled in Estonia for quality inspection before being disassembled and shipped. Indoor and outdoor models available as DIY kits or pre-assembled. Free shipping on all Auroom products, 0% APR financing available.
Heaters are sold separately — Auroom saunas pair beautifully with HUUM (Estonian design match), Harvia (Finnish reliability), or Saunum (Estonian air circulation technology). Use our heater sizing calculator to find the right kW for your Auroom model. For a deep dive on the full Auroom lineup, read our complete Auroom buying guide.
Cala Mini (1 person) — Auroom's smallest sauna. A compact, spa-quality one-person unit that fits in tight spaces while delivering a full traditional steam experience. Ideal for apartments, bathrooms, and small dedicated sauna rooms where floor space is limited.
Cala Wood (2 person) / Cala Glass (2–4 person) — The Cala is designed to be compact while feeling open and spacious. The Cala Wood features a full-height glass door that lets natural light in; the Cala Glass takes it further with a full glass front wall. Available in thermo-aspen and aspen interior finishes. The Cala Glass is one of our most-viewed Auroom models with strong search performance.
Baia (2 person) / Baia Glass (2 person) — Distinguished by its ergonomic wavy bench — a curved seating surface typically offered only on larger, more expensive saunas. The contoured bench follows the body's natural shape for comfort during longer sessions. Baia comes with a wood front; Baia Glass adds a modern glass front wall.
Vulcana (3–4 person / 5 person) — A sleek, contemporary design that combines thermo-aspen with contrasting dark and light elements and glass. Clean lines and a modern aesthetic that transforms any room into a sophisticated spa environment. Available in two sizes.
Relaxia (3–5 person) — Built around ergonomic comfort with contoured bench profiles. A luxury indoor sauna designed for extended sessions where bench comfort is the priority.
Nativa (2 person / 3–4 person / 5–6 person) — Combines simplicity, beauty, and functionality with an architecturally elegant design. Available in three sizes to fit rooms from compact guest baths to dedicated wellness spaces.
Lumina (2 person / 3–4 person / 5–6 person) — Sophisticated and luxurious with smooth wall panels and fine interior craftsmanship. The glass front wall is paired with refined detailing throughout. Available in three sizes.
Familia (2 person / 3–4 person / 5–6 person) — Auroom's classic cabin design with vertical wall panels and a beautifully crafted wooden front wall. Available in five sizes and your choice of three wood finishes, making it one of the most customizable Auroom models. A traditional look for buyers who prefer wood-dominant aesthetics over glass-forward designs.
Emma Wood (4–6 person) — A simple, classic Scandinavian design. Available in silky-smooth wood finishes. For buyers who want understated elegance without bold modern design elements.
Libera Glass (5–6 person) — Auroom's flagship indoor sauna, co-designed with Italian architect Luca Donazzolo. The defining feature is an exterior glass wall — an architectural statement piece for designer homes and modern gyms. Available in five sizes and three wood finishes, with optional matching wood panels for a fully custom built-in installation. Shop all indoor saunas.
Aura (2 person) — Auroom's compact outdoor sauna kit. A modular design with contoured Finnish bench seating. At roughly 69" wide × 68" deep × 97" high, it fits in small backyards, patios, and narrow garden spaces. DIY kit assembly.
Mira (1–2 person / 4–5 person) — A full tempered glass front wall showcases the thermo-aspen interior, illuminated by indirect LED bench lighting. The exterior is thermally enhanced brushed Nordic spruce, available in natural or black finish. Walls are 6.1" thick and well insulated for sound dampening and heat retention. DIY kit — approximately 8 hours assembly for 2 people. Available in two sizes.
Arti (5 person) — A fully pre-assembled outdoor sauna — the compact version of the Natura. Black thermally enhanced brushed Nordic spruce exterior with a contrasting wood interior available in aspen, alder, or thermo-aspen. Includes a porch. Double-glazed tempered glass with UV-protected pine frames. Arrives on a flatbed truck ready to place — no assembly required (crane or forklift needed for positioning).
Terra (5–6 person) / Terra Black (5–6 person) — A spacious, universally styled outdoor sauna. The Terra fits equally well in modern urban settings and natural landscapes. Available in natural wood or all-black exterior finish.
Garda (4–6 person) — A pre-assembled outdoor sauna built with cross-laminated timber for exceptional structural rigidity. Clean, minimalist design. Arrives fully assembled — crane or forklift needed for positioning.
Natura (5 person + changeroom) — Auroom's premier outdoor sauna, made to order in Estonia. Includes a dedicated changeroom/entry vestibule attached to the sauna cabin — a true self-contained sauna building. Deep brown thermo-spruce exterior with a terrace. Pre-assembled and shipped on a flatbed truck. The flagship outdoor model for buyers who want a complete standalone sauna experience. Shop all outdoor saunas.
Natura Outdoor Lounge — A matching outdoor lounge cabin companion for the Natura sauna. Extends your outdoor sauna setup with a dedicated relaxation and cooling-off space.
No — heaters are sold separately. Auroom saunas are traditional steam saunas that work with any electric sauna heater sized correctly for the cabin's cubic footage. We recommend HUUM for a matching Estonian design aesthetic, Harvia for the widest range and proven reliability, or Saunum for innovative air circulation technology. Use our heater sizing calculator to match the right kW rating to your sauna.
Auroom uses Thermory's thermally modified timber sourced from sustainably managed Northern European forests. Interiors are typically thermo-aspen (silky-smooth texture, low thermal conductivity so benches stay comfortable at high temperatures) or natural aspen and alder options. Exteriors on outdoor models use thermo-spruce (Nordic spruce thermally treated for weather resistance). The thermal modification process enhances dimensional stability, moisture resistance, and longevity without chemicals — the wood is heated to high temperatures in a controlled process that permanently alters its cellular structure.
Most Auroom indoor models and the outdoor Aura and Mira are DIY kits — they ship as flat-packed panels with all components and hardware included. Indoor kits typically take a few hours to assemble; the outdoor Mira takes approximately 8 hours for 2 people. Outdoor models like the Arti, Garda, and Natura are pre-assembled in Estonia and ship fully built on a flatbed truck — no assembly required, but you'll need a crane or forklift to position the sauna on your property. Pre-assembled models have a flat-rate freight charge (approximately $1,990 to the contiguous U.S.).
Auroom sits at the premium tier — higher-end than SaunaLife or Dundalk in both materials and price. The Thermory thermo-treated wood, furniture-grade interior finishes, invisible fasteners, and architectural design distinguish Auroom from mass-produced alternatives. For buyers who want the absolute best in traditional sauna craftsmanship with European design pedigree, Auroom is the top of the lineup. If you're looking for more affordable traditional options, Golden Designs and SaunaLife offer excellent quality at lower price points.
Outdoor Auroom saunas need a level, solid foundation. Concrete slabs, compacted gravel pads, or deck surfaces all work — the key is that the surface must be level, stable, and able to support the weight of the fully loaded sauna. Check your specific model's product page for exact weight specifications and foundation requirements. Pre-assembled models (Arti, Garda, Natura) are significantly heavier since they arrive as complete structures.
