Dundalk's barrel saunas are the core of their lineup and some of the most popular barrel saunas on the market. The barrel shape is structurally efficient — the curved walls heat evenly, require no internal framing, and shed rain and snow naturally. All Dundalk barrels are built from 1.5"-thick Eastern White Cedar staves with stainless steel band clamps and come standard with 2-tier bench seating, a bronze tempered glass door, and a black steel roof.
Harmony (CTC22W) — The 2–4 person entry-level barrel. No porch, compact footprint. This is Dundalk's most affordable sauna and a solid choice if space or budget is limited. Shop all barrel saunas.
Serenity (CTC2245W / CTC2245MP) — A 2–4 person barrel with an 18" covered porch. The porch adds a sheltered entry area and visual presence. The MP variant features large panoramic glass windows on the front and back for a more open, light-filled interior.
Tranquility (CTC2345W / CTC2345MP) — Dundalk's largest barrel at 6-person capacity with an 18" porch. Same construction as the Serenity but longer, with more bench space. The MP variant adds panoramic glass front and back windows. If you want a barrel sauna for a family or group, this is the one.
Dundalk's cabin saunas offer a more traditional, room-like experience with flat walls, a peaked or flat roof, and flexible interior layouts. Thicker wall construction compared to barrels provides excellent insulation for cold climates.
Granby (CTC66W) — A compact 2–3 person cabin with 2-tier bench seating, black steel roof, front windows with bronze tempered glass, and dovetail corners. The smallest Dundalk cabin and a good match for smaller backyards or patios. Shop all cabin saunas.
Georgian (CTC88W) — Dundalk's flagship cabin sauna, seating 6 people. Two-tier L-shaped bench layout, black steel roof, bronze tempered glass door and windows, and dovetail corner assembly. This is one of the most popular outdoor cabin saunas in North America for good reason — it's spacious, well-built, and looks great in any backyard setting.
Georgian with Porch (CTC88PW) — The same 6-person Georgian cabin with an added covered porch for a dedicated entry area. Great for creating a full outdoor sauna experience with space to cool down between rounds.
Georgian with Changeroom (CTC88CW) — The Georgian cabin with a built-in 48" enclosed changing room. The changeroom gives you a private space to change, store towels and robes, and transition in and out of the sauna without exposure to the elements. Ideal if your sauna isn't adjacent to your house.
MiniPOD (CTC77MW) — A 7' × 7' pod-shaped sauna seating 2–4 people. The rounded pod design gives it a distinctive look that stands out from traditional barrels and cabins. Side-wall bench layout, EPDM membrane roof, and a front window with double 5mm bronze tempered glass. A unique alternative if you want something different from the standard barrel shape. Shop all pod saunas.
Luna (CTC22LU) — A 2–4 person cube-inspired sauna with a modern, flat-roof profile. Eastern White Cedar bevel siding on the exterior gives it a clean, contemporary appearance. If you prefer straight lines and a modern aesthetic over the classic barrel or cabin look, the Luna delivers that in the Dundalk cedar construction you'd expect. Shop all cube saunas.
Dundalk builds three cold plunge tubs in the same Eastern White Cedar as their saunas, so they visually match if placed side by side in your backyard. All are made in Canada and ship assembled (not as kits).
Baltic Cold Plunge Tub (CT33BP) — The original Dundalk cold plunge. Eastern White Cedar barrel with a durable HDPE plastic liner, molded-in bench, and stainless steel bands. Holds 150 gallons. Use with ice or add the optional electric chiller unit (cools to low 40s°F, high 30s°F in the right conditions). Garden hose drain connection for easy maintenance.
Polar Plunge Tub — Dundalk's stainless steel cold plunge option. A different construction approach than the Baltic — designed for buyers who prefer a metal tub interior.
Flow Cold Plunge Tub — Dundalk's newest cold plunge, shipped fully assembled with a focus on simplicity and clean design.
Pairing a Dundalk cold plunge with a Dundalk sauna creates a complete contrast therapy setup in matching cedar. Shop all cold plunges.
Starlight Wood-Burning Hot Tub — A cedar hot tub with an aluminum liner and internal wood-burning heater. Heats in approximately 2 hours, no electrical connection required. Cedar backrest and easy-drain design. A fully off-grid hot tub option that pairs naturally with Dundalk's wood-burning sauna setups.
Sierra Pillar Shower — An outdoor shower built from Eastern White Cedar with stainless steel support brackets. Works great next to a sauna, pool, or beach house for rinsing off or cooling down between sauna sessions.
Savannah Standing Shower — A freestanding outdoor shower in Eastern White Cedar. Easy to assemble and reposition — a practical addition next to any outdoor sauna or pool area.
Dundalk saunas are traditional saunas — they use a conventional electric or wood-burning heater (not infrared panels). Most models ship as a shell kit, and the heater is chosen separately based on your preference and setup. Electric heaters require a 240V dedicated circuit and are the most common choice for residential installations. Wood-burning stoves are ideal for off-grid properties or anyone who wants the authentic wood-fired sauna experience. Browse our electric sauna heaters or wood-burning sauna stoves, or use our heater sizing calculator to find the right output for your Dundalk model.
Every Dundalk product is handcrafted in Melancthon, Ontario, Canada by a team of skilled carpenters. The wood — Eastern White Cedar — is locally harvested from sustainably managed Canadian forests. Dundalk has been building outdoor saunas and wellness products for over 20 years.
Most Dundalk sauna kits ship as the cedar shell, benches, door, roof, and hardware. The heater is typically purchased separately so you can choose between electric and wood-burning based on your installation. Some product listings on our site include heater package options — check the specific model page for available bundles. If you're unsure what heater size you need, use our calculator or call us at (360) 233-2867.
Dundalk kits are designed for DIY assembly. Barrel saunas use stave-and-band construction — you stand the staves, position the heads, and tighten the stainless steel bands. Cabin saunas use dovetail corner joints that interlock without fasteners. Most models take 4–8 hours with two people and basic tools. No specialized carpentry skills required. Read our barrel sauna assembly guide.
Dundalk's main differentiator is Canadian craftsmanship and Eastern White Cedar construction at a mid-range price point. SaunaLife offers similar barrel, cabin, and cube styles but uses thermo-treated spruce and aspen (European construction). True North Saunas is another Canadian maker (also Ontario-based) with a similar cedar-and-handcrafted approach. For the broadest selection of outdoor sauna styles, browse our full outdoor sauna collection.
Yes. Like any outdoor sauna, Dundalk models need a level, stable surface. Gravel pads, concrete pads, deck platforms, and paver patios all work. The foundation should be level and provide drainage so water doesn't pool under the sauna. Read our complete sauna foundation guide.
