Every package we sell is pre-configured by the manufacturer so all components are guaranteed to work together. For DIY sauna builders, this is the simplest path from "empty room" to "working sauna." Electric sauna heater packages include the heater unit, a controller, and sauna stones. The controller type determines how you operate your sauna — packages are available with either built-in knob controls (on the heater itself) or a separate digital controller with WiFi for smartphone operation. Here's what each brand offers:
Harvia Electric Packages — Finland's largest heater manufacturer. Harvia packages pair the heater with either built-in knob controls or the Xenio digital touchscreen controller with WiFi (controlled via the MyHarvia app). Stones are included. Available heater models in package form:
KIP — The most popular home sauna heater. Traditional wall-mounted design with large stone capacity. Available as a knob-control package (controls on the heater base) or as a Xenio WiFi package (digital touchscreen mounted outside the sauna + app control). 4.5–8kW, for saunas 100–425 cu. ft. Available in stainless steel or black steel finish. The Wall — Compact wall-mounted heater with minimalist Scandinavian aesthetics. Built-in controls. 6–8kW. Space-saving design for smaller saunas. Stainless steel or black steel. Spirit — Curved body designed for rounded stones. Xenio WiFi package. Soft, enveloping steam. Cilindro Half — Sleek pillar-type heater with partially open front casing for maximum stone exposure. Large stone capacity in a compact footprint. Can be integrated into the bench or placed against a glass wall. Xenio WiFi package or built-in controls. 6–11kW, for saunas 141–636 cu. ft. Club — Heavy-duty heater for large saunas and commercial use. Deluxe stainless steel, high stone capacity. Xenio WiFi package. 10–15kW. Virta — Powerful floor-standing heater. Separated heating elements for long lifespan. Xenio WiFi package. 6–11kW. Virta Pro — Commercial-grade version. 16–20kW for large spa and hotel installations. Heating elements divided into two groups for easy maintenance. Virta Combi — Combines electric heater with built-in steam generator. Offers both dry sauna and steam room modes in one unit. Steam reservoir can be used with essential oils for aromatherapy.
HUUM Electric Packages — Estonian design-forward heaters. HUUM packages pair the heater with the UKU WiFi controller (app-controlled, wall-mounted outside the sauna) and sauna stones. Available models:
DROP — Organic water-drop shape. Minimalist design statement. 4.5–9kW. HIVE and HIVE MINI — Sculptural hive-shaped freestanding heaters that look more like art than appliances. The HIVE package includes an extension box for larger installations. CLIFF and CLIFF Mini — Slim profile with remarkably small safety distances, ideal for tight spaces. STEEL and STEEL Mini — Slim wall-mounted design, minimal clearances. CORE — All-inclusive package designed for seamless installation.
Saunum Electric Packages — The only heater with a built-in Climate Equalizer that actively circulates air throughout the sauna for even temperature distribution (eliminating the hot-ceiling / cold-floor problem). Packages include the heater, Climate Equalizer module, digital controller with WiFi, and stones. Available in Air, Air L, and Air Perfect models for different sauna sizes.
Wood burning packages include the stove, a stainless steel chimney kit (configured for either thru-roof or thru-wall installation), protective floor and wall bedding, a heat sheath, and sauna stones. Everything needed to install and fire up a wood-burning sauna — just add firewood.
Harvia Wood Burning Packages:
M3 — Classic design for small to medium saunas (212–459 cu. ft.). Glass door for fire viewing. Available in multiple chimney configurations (thru-roof, thru-wall). The most popular entry-level wood stove package. Linear 16 & Linear 28 — Sleek, modern design with cast-iron glass door. Linear 16 (17.9kW) and Linear 28 (22kW) for medium to large saunas up to 988 cu. ft. Legend 150, 240 & 300 — Large stone capacity for soft, traditional steam. The Legend 240 GreenFlame version features a fire chamber designed for clean combustion, reducing carbon monoxide emissions by approximately 70%. The Legend 300 is for larger saunas. PRO 20 & PRO 36 — Heavy-duty stoves for frequent, vigorous use. The PRO 36 (31kW) is built for the largest saunas and commercial installations.
HUUM Wood Burning Packages:
HIVE WOOD 13kW — The iconic HIVE design in a wood-burning version. Available with thru-wall or thru-roof chimney configurations. Includes stones and floor protection. HIVE 17kW — Larger version for bigger saunas. Same chimney options (thru-wall or thru-roof). Both packages include everything for a complete installation.
Every electric heater we sell is also available as a standalone unit (heater only, no controller or stones). The standalone option makes sense if you already have a compatible controller from a previous heater, or if you want to source stones separately. But for new installations, the package is almost always the better choice for three reasons: guaranteed component compatibility (the right controller for the right heater, the right stone volume for the heater capacity), simplified ordering (one product, one checkout), and typically a better combined price than buying each component individually.
For wood burning stoves, the package advantage is even more significant. Chimney sizing and configuration (thru-roof vs. thru-wall, single-wall smoke pipe vs. insulated double-wall chimney), protective bedding dimensions, and stone volume all need to match the specific stove model. The package eliminates the guesswork.

Every electric package includes the heater unit and sauna stones. Beyond that, it depends on the configuration: packages with built-in controls have the controls integrated into the heater body (no separate controller needed). Packages with a digital controller include a separate touchscreen control panel (mounted outside the sauna) and WiFi module for smartphone control. Some HUUM packages also include an extension box for larger heater installations.
A complete stove, stainless steel chimney kit (either thru-roof or thru-wall configuration), protective wall and floor bedding, a heat sheath for the wall behind the stove, and sauna stones. Some Legend models also include a rock cage for the chimney pipe (which holds additional stones along the chimney for extra heat mass). Chimney kits can typically be extended with additional single-wall or double-wall sections if your installation requires a longer run.
Built-in controls (knob or dial on the heater body) are the simplest option — turn it on, set your temperature, set a timer. No phone or app required. WiFi packages give you remote control via smartphone app (Harvia uses MyHarvia, HUUM uses UKU), so you can preheat the sauna before you arrive, monitor temperature, and set schedules. WiFi packages also include a digital touchscreen panel mounted outside the sauna for manual control. Most home sauna builders choose WiFi packages for the convenience of remote preheating.
No — every package includes the correct volume of sauna stones for that heater model. If you ever need replacement stones down the road, we carry sauna stones individually as well as decorative stones for an upgraded appearance.
