The Finlandia FX503 is the contactor/power unit for 208-volt, three-phase heaters over 8 kW when used with a mechanical Finlandia control, such as the F-2T timer control or the F-2 commercial control paired with a separate time clock.

Installation:

The Finlandia FX503 contactor can be recessed into the wall.  Finlandia provides a 6" W x 4" D x 8" H rough-in size for this installation. It should be installed outside the sauna room in a dry, accessible location, and installing it in a nearby closet or equipment area may help reduce audible clicking from the contactor during operation. Installation should be completed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the manual and local electrical code.
