Find the Perfect Traditional Sauna for Your Space
Use our simple tool to find the ideal traditional sauna based on your space and preferences. Select your installation location, capacity needs, and dimensions to get personalized sauna recommendations.
Follow the steps below to get started!
Choose whether your sauna will be installed indoors (inside your home) or outdoors (in your backyard, on your patio, etc.). Outdoor models have extra weatherproofing (insulation, shingles, etc) to handle the elements.
Choose the number of people who will regularly use the sauna at once. Pro tip: opt for a larger size (like a 3-4 person model) if you want the option to lie down and stretch out in the sauna.
Enter the largest dimensions your sauna can be. Results will show saunas that fit within these limits, ranked from largest to smallest.
Select the shape that best fits your needs and space:
Square/Rectangular: Most common shape, efficient use of space, and fits well against walls.
Rounded Cube: Modern design with softened corners for a contemporary look.
Barrel: Unique cylindrical design, efficient heat circulation, and often used outdoors.
Pod: Compact, space-saving designs with rounded surfaces.
Select one or more wood types you prefer. The tool will find saunas that use these woods in either the interior or exterior construction.
Cedar: Classic choice with a rich aroma, naturally resists moisture and decay.
Hemlock: Pale wood with no scent, smooth, and stable in heat.
Spruce: Light, clean look with subtle knots, traditional for saunas.
Aspen: Knot-free, splinter-free, light color, and nearly scentless.
Alder: Uniform, light reddish-brown, sturdy, and low aroma.
Pine: Often used in thermally treated form for outdoor sauna exteriors.
Electric: Easy to use, requires minimal maintenance, and produces consistent heat.
Wood Burning: Traditional experience with the aroma and crackling of burning wood.
Hybrid (Infrared/Electric): Combines traditional electric heaters with infrared technology.
Windows provide natural light and enhance the sauna experience. Choose your preferred window style:
Full Glass Front: Modern design with maximum natural light and an open feel.
With Windows: Traditional design with one or more windows for natural light.
Glass Door w/ No Windows: Classic design offering maximum privacy and heat retention.
